02Legal framework
The use of cookies and similar technologies in the United Kingdom is governed principally by regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended — including by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 — read together with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Regulation 6 requires that a person storing information on, or gaining access to information stored in, a user's terminal equipment must provide clear and comprehensive information about that storage or access and obtain the user's consent, unless a statutory exemption applies. The principal exemptions cover storage or access that is strictly necessary for the provision of a service explicitly requested by the user, or carried out for the sole purpose of transmitting a communication.
03What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags and software development kits. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all such technologies.
Cookies are commonly categorised as: strictly necessary (required for the service to function); preference (remembering choices such as language); statistical or analytics (measuring how a site is used); and marketing or advertising (building profiles and delivering targeted advertising). All categories other than strictly necessary generally require consent.

This website is a static site. It sets no cookies of its own, embeds no third-party advertising or analytics scripts, and loads no external tracking pixels. Fonts and stylesheets are served from the same domain rather than from a third-party content delivery network, so no request is made to an external tracking party when a page loads.
05Browser storage
The website's interface scripts do not write to localStorage or sessionStorage, and do not persist any identifier or preference on your device between visits. Any state used by the interface — for example whether the mobile menu is open — exists only in memory for the duration of the page view and is discarded when the page is closed.
06Server logs
Separately from cookies, the hosting provider's web server automatically records standard technical information about requests, such as IP address, timestamp, requested resource and user-agent string. This is not achieved by storing information on your device and therefore does not fall within regulation 6 of PECR, but it may involve personal data, which is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
07Why no consent banner is shown
A consent banner is only required where non-exempt cookies or similar technologies are used. Displaying a banner where nothing requiring consent is set would be misleading and would not improve transparency. The ICO's guidance likewise indicates that consent mechanisms should reflect actual use.
Should this change, a compliant consent mechanism will be implemented before any non-essential technology is activated.
08If cookies are introduced in future
If the company introduces analytics, embedded third-party content or any other non-essential technology, it will:
- publish an updated inventory in this policy, identifying each cookie, its purpose, its provider and its duration;
- obtain prior consent through a mechanism that presents accept and reject options with equal prominence, and that does not treat continued browsing, scrolling or pre-ticked boxes as consent;
- provide a means to withdraw consent as easily as it was given;
- ensure non-essential technologies do not load until consent has been given;
- record consent so that it can be demonstrated, as required by Article 7(1) of the UK GDPR.
09Managing cookies in your browser
Independently of this website, you can configure your browser to block or delete cookies, and most browsers allow you to review what is stored for a given site. Blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of other websites you visit; it will not affect the operation of this one, as none are used.
Guidance for common browsers is published by their respective vendors under names such as "clear cookies and site data" or "privacy and security settings".
10Changes and contact
This policy is reviewed when the website's technical configuration changes. The version and date shown at the top of this page indicate the version in effect.
